Disposable dishes
Disposable containers are containers made from plastic or cardboard. These containers are produced and offered in various shapes and sizes. Of course, new generations of these containers are made and offered from various polymers such as polystyrene foam.polymer
These containers, which are mainly made of plastic, are made and produced from different polymers. Including:
High-density polyethylene
Polypropylene
Polystyrene
The use of each of these containers also differs depending on the type of raw material used in it.polymer
Pet
In order to produce colorful and diverse plastic containers in different types, preform molds must be used. Standard and diverse shaping of plastic bottles is possible through preform molds. These efficient molds will be able to produce high-quality bottles by creating a variety of sizes and shapes.
Plastic containers available on the market are created by injecting raw plastic materials into PET bottles. The materials that are poured into the preform mold are polyethylene terephthalate, which can be converted into various plastics. If you want to increase your information about PET bottles, stay with us.
What is a PET bottle?
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET or PETE) is derived from the words PolyEthylene Terephethalate and is classified as a long-chain polymer belonging to the polyester family. The materials used to produce PET are: pure terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, both of which are derived from petroleum raw materials.
This polymer is one of the most widely used thermoplastic polymers worldwide. This polymer is known in the textile industry under the trade name polyester. PET has a transparent, plastic and semi-crystalline appearance and shape. The application and uses of PET are in three main areas as follows. In textiles as a fiber in clothing production, as a moisture barrier in the packaging and bottling industries and other industries related to these two cases, the third is used as an engineering plastic, which is combined with other materials such as glass fiber, increasing the strength of the material.
Agricultural brigade tape
Thin strips of polyethylene that are soft and completely flexible. As water enters the tank, the strips fill up and become flat again after irrigation is complete. Since the strips are installed near the roots of the crops to specifically irrigate the area around the plant, water is used optimally and there is no waste.
Granules
Granules are a form of polymer that is produced in the form of small, uniform granules. These granules are created from polymers produced in petrochemicals after the extrusion process using cutting machines. Granules are of great importance due to their wide applications in various industries including plastics, construction, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture.polymer
Injection molding
Injection molding is a method of manufacturing metal or plastic parts using raw materials such as glass, polymers, elastomers, and metals. In this method, the raw materials required to manufacture the part are melted and injected into a pre-prepared mold using a molding machine and levers and pistons at a certain pressure.
The molds used in injection molding machines are often designed to vent the molten material and its heat to the outside through vents. This helps the molten material inside the mold cool and form better. After cooling, the material takes on the shape of the mold and exits the molding machine as a functional part.
Woven polypropylene
Polypropylene bags are made by melting plastic at extremely high temperatures. It is then molded into long strips, which are then woven to create a strong plastic web. These woven polypropylene sheets are then cut and stitched to form the bag.
Blow molding containers
Blow molding is generally a process of producing hollow plastic parts of various dimensions. This production process can be considered one of the cost-effective processes for mass production of plastic parts. It should be noted that the raw materials of this process are thermoplastics.polymer
